Gathering sign-ups in September – Jeff Long’s Lead Capture Page

Hello again shipmates! This time I’m writing about a system for acquiring sign-ups and leads which must be the finest development I have seen.

As I have begun using it myself, I feel fully justified in reviewing and recommending the program here.

First off, it’s from Jeff Long, so his name itself piqued my interest. Second, for most affiliate marketers like myself, lead-gathering and list-building is a perennial headache. So I was curious.

I have learnt caution in this game, but after reading about the program I didn’t hesitate. And I have no regrets; I am absolutely delighted with Lead Capture Page (LCP).

Jeff Long is truly a genius. LCP allows you to set a capture / opt-in / squeeze page on any web page. And it it doesn’t matter whether you own the site or not! For instance, you can set it to work on your Face Book profile or your Titter account.

Not least, Jeff provides a genuinely useful user guide. (He is also a damn good instructor.) The guide is so good, so thoughtful and considerate of the user, that it’s a delight to follow. I have just come from there now, where I am enjoying myself mightily and boggling at the power this gives me.

I want to gallop straight back to my Lead Capture Page, so I won’t rabbit on any longer. But let me urge you to take a look at LCP below. You will find it very, very interesting to say the least.

Stay well, and keep your feet dry,

Dave ‘Moonraker’ Merrington

Moonraking & rambling in September

It happens when you turn your back — the calendar flips its pages and surprises you with a new month. It’s hard to believe that we’re already entering the fourth quarter of 2009. Not long before the first decade of the new millenium is history.

So what’s really been happening? (Other than economic excitements, political changes, ecological troubles and all the usual moil and toil in the lives of us ordinary citizens.)

Guru Bypass

OK, we’ve seen a number of remarkable offerings for affiliate marketers, and the emphasis has generally been on the newcomers to this work. One that really stood out from the crowd, and impressed me very much indeed, is Randy Smith’s Guru Bypass.

My Yorkshire friend is an original; he keeps himself independent, and now he has made one of his affiliate systems available to all. Like Randy himself, The Guru Pypass is an original. It looks perfect for newcomers to affiliate marketing who have little spare cash, no website, no list and no products.

Sokule

Then, there was the much-announced and eagerly anticipated Sokule. A business variant on Twitter, Sokule has various monetising functions, and a range of membership levels. I’m proud to say that I was among the first three to join at the beta launch. At the time of writng this, Sokule is still in beta, and more applications are constantly being added to it. Here’s a sample of one of Sokule’s attractive banner ads — give it a hearty click:

Alas, this must be a quick posting, as I have three tight deadlines to manage. So, I wish everyone the best of health and a prosperous time in September,
